Narrativa Raises $1.3M

Los Angeles-based Narrativa, a developer of artificial intelligence software aimed at helping pharmaceutical companies with FDA drug approvals, says it has raised $1.3M in a financing round. Source of the new funding was not announced. According to Narrativa, it is using its AI software to automate the generation of Clinical Study Reports (CSRs) and other regulatory reports. The company says its software uses Natural Language Generation (NLG) to run through millions of data points from clinical trials generating readable and comprehensible written medical narratives, increasing accuracy and drastically reducing the time and cost to create critical (and laborious) regulatory documents. The startup is led by founder and CEO David Llorente.
