SpaceX Successfully Launches Falcon Heavy Into Space, Lands 3 Boosters

Hawthorne-based SpaceX has successfully launched a Falcon Heavy into space with a communications satellite payload, and also landed all three rocket boosters attached to the Falcon Heavy, including two side boosters and a central core. SpaceX launched the Arabsat-6A high capacity telecommunications satellite from NASA Kenney Space Center in Florida on Thursday afternoon, at 6:35 p.m. EDT, from Launch Complex 39A. SpaceX saw a perfect, side-by-side landing of the side boosters for the Falcon Heavy on land at Cape Canaveral, and the center core on the "Of Course I Still Love You" drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. The Arabsat-6A was continuing on its path to orbit as of 7:06pm EDT.
