SpaceX Seeking $510M In New Funding

Hawthorne-based SpaceX is looking to raise another $510M in funding--the second time the firm has gone out for funding this year--according to a regulatory filing from the firm. The funding will bring SpaceX's total raised to more than $2.75 billion, and reportedly values the rocket firm at over $30 billion. The new funding came to light after another, successful launch for the company--the first, commercial flight of a Falcon Heavy rocket on Thursday.
