Elon Musk Will Leave Trump Tech Council If US Drops Paris Agreement

Elon Musk, the technology billionaire behind SpaceX and Tesla Motors, says that if the U.S. withdraws from the Paris Agreement, he will "have no choice" but to leave Trump's Tech Council. In a tweet, Musk said he has "done all I can to advise directly to POTUS" on climate change, and "don't know which way Paris will go". Musk had joined a controversial council formed by the Presidential administration to ostensibly "share their specific experience and knowledge" with the President. Musk has been a convincing advocate for efforts to battle climate change. Trump has previously called climate change a "Chinese hoax". Musk has said that climate change will spark a refugee crisis of catastrophic proportions if no action is taken.
