Beyond Meat Launches Meatballs At Grocery Stores

El Segundo-based plant-based meat company Beyond Meat says it has rolled out a new product, Beyond Meatballs, at grocery stores nationwide. The company says its meatballs--which are pre-seasoned with Italian spices--are ready to cook, and will be available at Whole Foods Market, Stop & Shop, Sprouts, Harris Teeter, Kroger, Albertsons, and others by early October. The new products will be sold in the fresh meat section, starting at $6.99 for 12 meatballs. The addition of meatballs will be the third retail product launched by the company this year--it also launched two other products, Beyond Breakfast Sausage and Cookout Classic, earlier this year.
