Report: Major Cybersecurity Breach At El Segundo's PCM

According to a report, from Krebs On Security, El Segundo-based IT services provider PCM has seen a major breach, which allowed attackers to access multiple, client accounts hosted through PCM. According to the report, the intrusion--discovered in mid May of this year--gave attackers the administrative credentials to client accounts within Office 365. The report says it believes the information was being used to conduct gift card fraud at various retailers and financial institutions. It's unclear how the revelation of the breach might affect PCM, which recently announced it was being acquired by another, IT services and products company, Insight Enterprises.
