Service Objects Offers Up Services For Free To Environmental Groups

Santa Barbara-based Service Objects, which provides software and services for real-time, contact validation for businesses, said it will offer up free assistance to nonprofits working in the area of environmental conservation and natural disaster relief. According to the company, it will offer in-kind grants of up to $2,500 to provide such services as address geocoding, email validation, phone number appending, and other data quality services to the groups. The company said the services are an effort to give back and donate its time and services. Service Objects said nonprofits such as Susan G. Komen, The Santa Barbara Humane Society and Angel Flight West have already taken advantage of its services. Service Objects provides a service to validate contact information in real time, which is used for identifying potentially fraudulent transactions, bolstering contact data, and other similar uses.
