uSamp Gets $10M In Series C

Encino-based uSamp, the online market research and sampling firm founded by former goZing founders Matt Dusig and Gregg Lavin, said today that it has raised $10M in a Series C funding. The funding was led by OpenView Venture Partners. According to uSamp, the funding will go towards acquisitions, development of its next-generation panel management platform, for its operations, and social media technology enhancements. The firm says it now has over 90 employees and operations not only here in California, but also in India. uSamp's online platform is used to manage online polling and sampling for clients. The company says it now has over 2 million active, registered panelists registered with the site. uSamp was formerly known as United Sample. More information »
