Blizzard Entertainment Links Games Into Facebook

Irvine-based Blizzard Entertainment and Facebook said on Monday that the two are in a new collaboration, where Blizzard will link its games into Facebook, via Facebook Login. The deal will let users sign up for, and log into games using their Facebook account. The deal will also help drive more social activity and integration within Blizzard's games. As a part of the deal, the two said they already have connected up Blizzard's newest game, Overwatch, into Facebook, and will also be adding those login features to World of Warraft, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, Diablo III, and StarCraft II. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
