Blizzard Entertainment, NERF Team To Bring Overwatch Gear To Real Life

Irvine-based Blizzard Entertainment and NERF Rival, owned by Hasbro, said this weekend that they are bringing one of the weapons from Blizzard's popular Overwatch video game to life. According to the two, they are launching a new, fully functional NERF toy called the NERF RIVAL OVERWATCH REAPER WIGHT EDITION blaster. Blizzard and Hasbro showed off a preview of the new toy on Comic-Con Internaional in San Diego over the weekend. The companies said the new blaster will shoot NERF RIVAL rounds at up to 90 feet per second, and that the toy will be launched officially sometime in 2019.
