YouTube Comes Calling In LA | Opens Space For Video Creators

Monday November 26 YouTube launched its creators space in LA in a move to reach out to original video creators to meet and share experiences to up their video production.

According to YouTube, ‘The YouTube Space was built for YouTube creators to make original videos for their channels, collaborate with other channels, share experiences, network, attend workshops, screenings, concerts and events, and get invaluable hands-on experience with industry-leading production equipment and resources.”

The firm adds that a YouTube Space is a place to learn the art of video, share experiences, and create awesome videos after learning. This is not the first ever space as YouTube already has one in London.

YouTube prides in the skill of its creators. The firm says its only as successful as its creators and that was the main reason for the launch of the YouTube Space Los Angeles to be used by YouTube partners for collaboration and production.

41000 Square Foot With Video Equipment For Free

The YouTube LA space is a 41,ooo square foot space at the former helicopter hangar in Playa Vista and is free for use by established and emerging creators from its Partner program.  The Space or the production equipment that’s housed there are free of charge.

The YouTube Partner Program is a free initiative which gives creators resources and opportunities to build their skills, grow their audiences, and increase their earnings. YouTube Partner join global communities of  musicians, filmmakers, comedians to athletes, and several others.

Why LA

Los Angeles is the second most populous city in the US, after New York City and is at times called the world’s entertainment capital. YouTube will have a huge following if it picks up in the seat of Hollywood and several video startups and firms.
