Business.com Names Sales VP

Carlsbad-based Business.com, which operates an online site offering up resources for businesses, said it has named a new VP of Sales--and completed an overhaul of its website. The company, which is now owned by JMI Equity, said it named Rick Szatkowski as its new VP of Sales. Szatkowski had previously served at such companies as Autobytel, Local.com, Miva, and AdKnowledge. Business.com is led by Tony Uphoff. The company and sitewas acquired by San Diego-based Resource Nation / JMI Equity back in 2011, after prior owner Dex One said in 2010 that it would be shutting down the site.
