Overwatch League Expands Events Beyond LA

The Overwatch League, the e-sports league run by Blizzard Entertainment around its title of the same name, is making its first event expansions beyond Los Angeles. In the announcement of its 2019 schedule, The Overwatch League said that it will run events in Dallas, Texas and Atlanta, in addition to Los Angeles, as it adds two "home" teams in Atlanta and Dallas--the Atlanta Reign and the Dallas Fuel. The move is the first event expansion for The Overwatch League, as it has begun growing its list of teams. Previous to the expansion, all of the games for the league have been held at L.A. Live.
