It allows for live collaboration, you can import content from Google Drive, and the most important feature is the ability to export multiple versions (a printable, web and tablet version) without any extra effort. It works great with Gmail and Google Apps, and if you pay for it you have the ability to collaborate with others on your team.

Initially the computer did basic functions like “screen validation” (making sure that you didn’t enter non-sensical data into fields, for example) and could take over functions like compiling your software code so you could check for errors before submitting it to the mainframe. Over time the PCs began to do more and more.

Google had no clue that they were going to make so much money in sponsored search. An example: My best recent example of this is Ophir Tanz and Ari Mir. They suddenly had Javascript on pages that covered 40 million unique users and they were coming up with innovative ad products that combated banner blindness.

Can you talk about the application and how this is different or better than similar efforts like Google Gears, etc? An example, the first target application we're selling into is Microsoft SharePoint. We didn't talk to Google Maps team to get Maps running--it works straight out of the box. You can get it for free.

Early on GumGum began to experiment with overlaying rich media ads through Flash with photos until technology progressed and they moved over to Javascript. Take the Oscars for example, users will be searching for information on the Oscars before and after the main event. Buying Google keywords will be popular and expensive.

The disadvantage is that you can’t install a lot of additional tools that use Javascript. I started with the hosted version and then migrated to an installed version so I could use Google Analytics and some other products. Then you can install Google Analytics to your website. Actually, that’s kind of lame.
