TenOneTen Ventures Kicks Off Fundraising Effort For Fund III

Los Angeles-based TenOnTen Ventures, the venture capital investment fund run by David Waxman, Gil Elbaz, and Minnie Ingersoll, has kicked off efforts to raise a third fund, TenOneTen Ventures III, with a goal of raising $60M in the fund, per recent regulatory filings by the firm. Details on the new fund have not yet been announced, as venture investors generally are not able to discuss their fundraising efforts while they are underway. The filing did not indicate any commitments yet by LPs. TenOneTen's investments have included HealthTensor, Joymode, CREXi, Ordermark, Probably Genetic, AirMap, Burner, and many other companies. The firm is known for its focus on data and software. All three of the Partners were entrepreneurs; Waxman co-founded Firefly (acquired by Microsoft), PeoplePC (acquired by Earthlink), and Spotrunner; Elbaz co-founded Applied Semantics (acquired by Google, as the foundation of Google AdSense) and Factual; Ingersoll was co-founder and COO of used car marketplace Shift.
