What most people don’t realize is, according to recent statistics , despite top positioning, only a quarter of sites selected comes from paid search. Thus I recommend that you stick with organic search, and use SEO to raise your ranking. Paid search engine ranking (PPC) is just buying advertising for your business.

I just saw a Forbes article talking about Google Hell - getting placed in the secondary index. Bottom line - if you are basing your business on high rankings via organic search, there's pretty incredible risk. It doesn't prevent Google Hell, but it certainly reduces the chances.

5) Google does a great job with indexed search. Do you see crowd-ranked lists as ultimately competitive or complimentary to traditional and curated search? Google can definitely work complimentary to what we are doing. The single largest source of growth is organic search. We get referring site traffic.
