SpaceX Calls Off Block 5 Launch, To Try Again Tomorrow

Hawthorne-based SpaceX called off its first launch of its Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket, and its payload, the Bangabandhu Satellite-1, merely seconds before launch on Thursday, saying that it was "standing down" due to a "standard ground system auto abort". The abort came at T-1 minutes. According to SpaceX, the rocket and payload are in "good health" and it will attempt a launch at 4:14 p.m. EDT tomorrow, Friday. SpaceX is launching the new Falcon 9 Block 5 from Cape Canaveral.
