Deluxe Buys Sundog Media Toolkit

Los Angeles-based Deluxe, which provides digital services to the motion picture, television, and digital media industry, said yesterday that it has acquired Sundog Media Toolkit, Ltd., a UK-based provider of a cloud platform for the industry. Financial details of the buy were not announced.

West Hollywood-based Dear Media , which is developing a podcasting network focused on female voices, said on Thursday that it has raised $8M in a funding round. Dear Media is led by CEO Michael Bosstick, and the company was co-founded with Raina Penchansky. The funding came from private equity investor Magnet Companies.
