Fourth Wall Studios Whacks Staff, Stops Production

Culver City-based Fourth Wall Studios, a developer of interactive content backed by LA billionaire Patrick Soon-Shiong, has laid off the majority of its staff, and stopped production, according to a report from the LA Times. The time said that the firm is instead re-focusing on technology to allow users to consume content on both television and mobile phones at the same time. The report said between 25 and 30 employees, out of approximately 40, were laid off from the firm on Monday.
