Hulu Hits More Than 1M Live TV Streaming Subscribers

Los Angeles-based streaming television provider Hulu said last week that it now has more than 1 million subscribers to its live TV streaming service, bringing its total subscribed base to around 20 million users. Hulu's live TV service behaves much like traditional linear television does, whether broadcast TV or cable, in that users have access to just live television streams. The service lets users "flip" between different channels. Hulu competes against Sling and DirecTV Now in the live television area, in addition to offering up its large collection of on-demand television shows and movies.
