Imax to Launch VR Arcade in Los Angeles

Imax Corp. will open a virtual reality arcade at the Grove shopping center at the end of this week, reports the Business Journal. The facility is the first of six planned virtual reality arcades worldwide, including spaces in Great Britain, Japan, and China.

Former Snapchat Executive Alleges App Misrepresented Growth

The former head of Snap Inc.’s user growth filed a lawsuit Wednesday alleging the company is cooking those numbers, reports the Business Journal. In a heavily redacted complaint filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Anthony Pompliano claims executives of the photo messaging app misrepresented the company’s growth metrics to him while he was recruited from Facebook Inc. in 2015.

Hulu to Add CBS to Live Streaming Service

Online TV streaming service Hulu plans to add CBS to its new live streaming service, reports the Hollywood Reporter. The deal includes CBS as well as some cable channels including CBS Sports Network and Pop.
