Qualcomm Selects Startups For Robotics Accelerator

San Diego-based Qualcomm has announced the ten companies that are part of its first Qualcomm Robotics Accelerator, which is being held in San Diego and just started this week. Qualcomm said it selected Carbon Robotics, Cleverpet, Ctrl Works, Inova Drone, Reach Robotics, Skyfront, Sky Robotics, Skysense, Solenica, and Rational Robotics for the program. The companies include two, San Diego companies--Cleverpet and Inova Drone--plus companies from as far way as Germany, Italy, Singapore, and Canada. Qualcomm is investing a total of $1M in funding across the pool of companies. The startup accelerator is being run for Qualcomm by Techstars.
