Disney Startup Accelerator Names Second Class

The Walt Disney Company announced the names of the companies in its second, startup accelerator program it runs out of Burbank, with the help of Techstars. According to Disney, the second class of the Disney Accelerator includes ten startups, who will participate in a three month mentorship and investment program. The program runs until October 6th, when Disney will have a Demo Day for the startups. The second class includes Decisive (SaaS for mobile targeting); EMOTIV (brain monitoring technology); FEM Inc. (video engagement platform); HYP3R (real time location information); Imperson (AI for allowing fans to chat with movie and TV characters); MakieLab (3d printed characters); Open Bionics (3d, robotic printed hands for amputees); Pundit (platform for talk radio hosts); and StatMuse (AI applied to sports stats).
