Everbridge Expands To IT Alerts

Glendale-based emergency communications and alert provider Everbridge said late Wednesday that it has launched a new product, aimed at the information technology industry. According to Everbridge, it has launched IT Alerting, a new product which is aimed at automatically alerting IT personnel about issues and automatically handling escalation of issues for organizations. The company said the IT Alerting product contacts IT personnel via email, phone, SMS, pager, and mobile applications, and then automatically escaltes those alerts to the next person until a confirmation is received. Pricing on the new product was not announced. Everbridge's communications products are best known for use in mass notification and emergency alert systems.
