Hyundai Invests In Netradyne

Automotive giant Hyundai is an investor in a funding round for San Diego-based Netradyne, as part of a partnership deal, according to the two companies. Netradyne is a developer of artificial intelligence (AI) software used in fleet safety management. According to Hyundai CRADLE, Hyundai Motor Company's corporate venturing organization, it made an investment in Netradyne, but did not disclose how much it invested in the startup. Netradyne has previously raised funding from M12, the venture fund run by Microsoft, as well as Reliance Industries and Point72 Ventures. Hyundai said the investment deal also included support for further development of Level 3+ Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (L3+ ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) features that may launch over the next few years for Hyundai.
