LAVA's Len Lanzi Departs To Head Preccelerator

Len Lanzi, who has been Executive Director of LAVA for the past 12 years, is joining as the new Managing Director of the Preccelerator, an accelerator for early-stage startups run by Stubbs Alderton & Markiles, LLP, according to Scott Alderton, founding partners of Stubbs. Lanzi has been a key force in the Los Angeles startup and technology world, and prior to that had served in numerous roles in the nonprofit sector. LAVA has not yet announced its plans after the departure of Lanzi. The Preccelerator offers up both physical space along Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade, as well as access to legal and other services, mentors, and programs.
