LegalZoom Names New CEO

Glendale-based LegalZoom, the provider of legal documents and services for small businesses and families, has named a new CEO, saying on Tuesday afternoon that it has named Daniel Wernikoff as its new Chief Executive Officer. Wernikoff takes over from longtime CEO John Suh, who LegalZoom said will become a Senior Advisor to the company. Suh will also step down from his position on the company's board of directors. Suh had been CEO for 12 years, leading the company from 2004 to 2019. Wernikoff was previously EVP and Gm for Intuit's Consumer Group, leading its efforts for such products as TurboTax and Mint. LegalZoom said that Wernikoff also oversaw such products as QuickBooks and TurboTax Live.
