Loot Crate Launches New Indie Games Subscription Service

Los Angeles-based Loot Crate says it is launching a new subscription service, focused on the independent developed PC game market, the company said on Wednesday morning. According to Loot Crate, its new digital subscription service, Loot Play, will offer up five indie games every month, for $10 a month. The new service--which it is launching in partnership with Chrono.gg--will include one featured title each month for its subscribers which will be revealed ahead of time, plus four other "mystery" games which will only be shown on "unboxing day" in each cycle. Loot Crate says the first, featured game for the new subscription service is Crossing Souls, developed by Fourattic and published by Devolver Digital.
