Million Dollar Data.com Domain Goes To Salesforce.com

The huge, $1.5 million dollar domain name sale of Data.com by Los Angeles-based Oversee.net's Moniker division went to Salesforce.com, according to a report from DomainNameWire. The sale looks to be the largest domain name sale so far this quarter. OVersee had disclosed the sale earlier this week, but had not named the buyer of the domain. The domain had been owned by UBM plc.
