NexSteppe Raises $14M For Biofuels Tech

Malibu-based NexSteppe, a firm developing renewable feedstocks for the biofuel industry, announced today that it has raised $14M in a Series B round of funding. The funding was led by Braemer Energy Ventures, along with CYM Ventures and Zygote Ventures. As part of the funding, the company said that Dennis Costello of Bramer has joined its board. NexSteppe was founded and is headed by Anna Rath. Rath was previously at VP at Ceres. More information »
