Skyworks Launches New Products For Military, Space Market

Irvine-based analog semiconductor developer Skyworks Solutions said this morning that it has rolled out a new set of products aimed at the high reliability, military and space market. According to the company, it has introduced new, hermetically sealed, broadband low-noise and impedance-matched amplifiers function in harsh environments. The new products are aimed at use in such systems as satellites and avionics systems. Those amplifiers are used for radio frequency (RF) applications, and include a broadband low-noise amplifier tuned for 700 MHz to 2.7 GHz and tunable up to 3.8 GHz, and a integrated gain block amplifier tuned for 700 MHz to 2.7 GHz and tunable from 0.1 to 6 GHz.
