MaxLinear Names Worldwide Sales VP

Carlsbad-based MaxLinear, which develops radio frequency, analog, and mixed-signal integrated circuits, said this morning that it has named Michael Bollesen as its new Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Bollsen was most recently at Cypress Semiconductor, most recently serving as President of Cypress China. MaxLinear says Bollesen has more than 20 years in the industry, primarily at Cypress, where he also served as Vice President of Sales for Asia-Pacific region, General Manager of the Cypress China business unit, President of Cypress Japan, Vice-President of Sales Japan, Director of Datacom Applications, and Director of Marketing.
