Otter Media Snags AT&T Exec As New CEO

Los Angeles-based Otter Media, the parent company of such sites as Fullscreen, Rooster Teeth, and Crunchyroll, has named Tony Goncalves as its new CEO, the company said on Monday. Otter Media is owned by The Chernin Group. Goncalves was most recently Chief Executive Officer, Digital Brands for AT&T, and also had served at DIRECTV. At AT&T, Otter Media said Goncalves had overseen the Otter Media relationship with The Chernin Group. Otter Media said its properties now are seeing more than 90 million unique viewers per month, with almost 100 billion video views in 2017.
