AEG Boosts Digital Marketing, Media Expertise

Los Angeles-based AEG Global Partnerships, which is part of sports and entertainment giant AEG, has boosted its digital marketing and media expertise, with the addition of a new Director of Digital at the company. According to the company, Matt Lawler will help it as it expands its digital business capabilities. AEG said Lawler will be responsible for the execution of strategic digital media initiatives, including the development and management of digital and social marketing campaigns, community engagement, and original partner and fan-generated content. Lawler was previously VP and Group Director of Social for Canvas Worldwide, and also served at digital agency Initiative, working on clients such as Kia, Hyundai, and working on the MTV's Video Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Vidcon, Super Bowl, NBA Finals and other areas, according to AEG.
