FuelRod Expands Mobile Charging To SeaTac

San Diego-based Tricopian, which operates the FuelRod mobile smartphone and tablet charging service, says it has expanded to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The company said the airport is the first for the company in the Pacific Northwest. The company says its service revolves around a "charge on the go" model which lets users pick up battery packs at kiosks, and turn them in for freshly charged battery packs at its various kiosks as they travel. The company sells a "mobile charge kit" which includes a battery and connectors for around $22, with those battery packs either rechargeable by a user or "swapped" at the company's kiosks at airports.
