Artie Takes $10M For Mobile Games

Los Angeles-based Artie, a new startup developing mobile games which can be played inside social media, video, and messaging platforms, said this week that it has raised $10M in a seed funding round. The funding came from angel investors, including Mark Pincus (founder of Zynga), Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman's Thirty Five Ventures, Scooter Braun's Raised In Space, Shutterstock founder Jon Oringer (founder of Shutterstock), Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, Susquehanna International Group, Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment + The Sixers Lab, and Manuel Bronstein (VP of Product at Google), Chad Hurley (founder of YouTube), Cyan Banister, Founders Fund, Warner Music Group, Matthew Ball, and Shrug Capital, among with other angels. The company's founders are Ryan Horrigann and Armando Kirwin.
