Impact Rolls Out New Deep Linking Support For Mobile Affiliates

Santa Barbara-based Impact, which develops software used by brands to manage partnership and affiliate programs, has launched a new product to help those companies with managing mobile linking. According to IMpact, it has added "deep linking" to specific product pages in apps, and tracking of in-app clicks and conversions for "partner attribution", in and enhancement to its platform. The company said the move will help marketers drive more revenue and higher mobile conversion rates. The company said the effort will both help expand its efforts with its current partners, as well as add mobile-only apps, mobile games and mobile publishers. Typically, affiliates of brands only get credit when sales are made from direct clicks and links on the web or elsewhere, so that inability to track those from deep within a mobile app would keep those partners from including referrals within their apps. Impact says it powers partnerships for such brands as Cabela's, Fanatics, Getty Images, Lenovo, Levi's, Techstyle and Ticketmaster. Impact has grown significantly over the years, and says it now has 400 employees across ten offices. The company recently raised a huge $75M funding round, led by private equity investor rovidence Strategic Growth (PSG).
