Emburse Rolls Out New AP Automation Product

Los Angeles-based Emburse, which develops expense and accounts payable automation software, says it has launched a new product, specifically aimed at helping companies automate their non-employee expenses. According to the company, its new product, Abacus Reach, allows non-employee travelers to capture and submit travel expenses via a mobile app, all while ensuring travel policy compliance. The company said the tool is aimed at non-employee groups, such as job candidates, external consultants and vendors. Emburse recently swallowed up Los Angeles-based accounting automation software provider Chrome River, and has combined it with a number of other expense and accounts payable automation firms Abacus, Captio, Certify, Nexonia and Tallie.
