mPulse Mobile Gets $11M For Healthcare Engagement

Encino-based mPulse Mobile has raised $11M in a Series B funding, for the company's mobile engagement software. According to mPulse Mobile, the funding was led by SJF Ventures, and also included HLM Venture Partners, EchoHealth Ventures, OCA Ventures, and Bonfire Ventures. mPulse has now raised over $25M in total. SJF Ventures' Cody Nystrom joins mPulse Mobile's board of directors with the funding. mPulse develops mobile software which helps health plans, health providers, pharmacies, and others interact with patients, including offering up health tips, informing them of preventative screenings, reminding them of wellness efforts, and much more.
