Xencor Names New Board Member

Monrovia-based Xencor, which develops biopharmaceuticals using engineered monoclonal antibodies for the treatment of autoimmune diseases, asthma and allergic diseases and cancer, said today that it has named Richard Ranieri to its Board of Directors. Ranieri is Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Affairs at BioMarin. He also has served at Denderon Corporation, Sepracore, Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc., Genencor International, and Smithkline Beecham.
