EVgo Signs General Motors' Maven For Fast Charging Network

Los Angeles-based EVgo, which operates a network of public, electric vehicle (EV) fast charging stations, has inked a deal with General Motors and its Maven car sharing brand. According to EVgo, it will construct a nationwide, dedicated, DC fast charing network for Maven Gig Chevrolet Bolt EV drivers. The network is an extension of an ongoing pilot program that EVgo has with Maven in seven major US cities. Financial details of the deal between EVgo and GM's Maven were not announced by the companies. EVgo currently has Maven fast chargers in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Boston, Washington DC, Baltimore, and Austin. EVgo is led by CEO Cathy Zoi.
