PASHpost Aims At Focused Social Networking

A new, Los Angeles-based startup, PASHpost, said today that it has lauched a new service called PASHGroups, a social destination which aggregates posts from such sites as Craigslist, Google+, Reddit, and YouTube, and sorts content from those sites into a single, interest-focused community. According to the company, it is targeting users of Google+, which is being shut down shortly. PASHpost, which is led by founder and President Marion Riedle, offers up a highly visual directory of content organized about specific topics--automobiles, fashion, bicycling, film, and more--which offers up a stream of videos, photo, and text. PASHpost says it is looking to attract groups looking for a home after the Google+ shutdown. Currently, it looks like many of the online communities on PASHpost resemble content-focused streams of Instagram posts, with ability to comment on specific photos or posts.
