Newegg Staffing Expands To Midwest, East Coast

Los Angeles-based e-commerce retailer Newegg, which recently expanded its offerings into technology staffing, says it has expanded its Newegg Staffing efforts into the Midwest and the East Coast. According to Newegg, the move is aimed at helping e-commerce companies scale up their workforces ahead of the Q4 holiday season. Newegg Staffing launched in April, after Newegg decided to expand its internal efforts at staffing logistics, manufacturing, clerical and supply chain management positions, to offering those services to others. The company said it wants to become the "go-to staffing agency to help e-commerce companies scale their workforces quickly and carefully." Newegg is better known for its online, tech-and-gaming focused e-commerce efforts. It's somewhat unusual for a consumer-focused, e-commerce retailer to expand into a B2B services area.
