Mixed Signals Acquired By Tektronix


El Segundo-based Mixed Signals , a developer of digital content monitoring products for the cable and satellite television, broadcast, and IPTV market, has been acquired by test equipment giant Tektronix. Mixed Signals was venture funded by Maverick Capital, Palomar Ventures, and RRE, and was headed by Eric Conley, and was founded in 1997.

CoreObjects Scores $2M In Venture Funding


Los Angeles-based CoreObjects , a provider of outsourced product development services to the venture-backed technology community, has raised $2.0M in a equity funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm today. According to Symphony Service Corp. , a provider of software product engineering services based in Bangalore, India, it has acquired CoreObjects and its delivery centers in Bangalore and Pune, India. According to the two, the deal comes as part of a strategic partnership, where Ace Metrix will work with WPP companies to syndicate its products to clients of WPP. They saw the natural connection, and we were funding in August with our product, and started marketing in March.
