Alleged Bitcoin Inventor Chased By Press Through San Gabriel Valley

Los Angeles is not a stranger to paparazzi, slow speed car chases, or even big technology news--but in a somewhat bizarre scene, all three were combined today when the technology press converged on the Temple City home of alleged Bitcoin inventor Satoshi Nakamoto, resulting in a horde of reporters chasing him through the streets of the San Gabriel Valley, and eventually to the AP offices in downtown Los Angeles. Nakamoto was identified by a Newsweek article Thursday morning as the elusive inventor of the algorithm behind Bitcoin. In an interview with the AP, Nakamoto denied any involvement with the currency. Nakamoto apparently shook a pack of reporters in the AP's parking garage late this afternoon.
