Cyber Monday Sales Hit $6.59 Billion, Says Adobe

Online sales on Cyber Monday hit a record $6.59 billion, the largest online sales day in history, according to numbers released by Adobe late Monday evening. According to Adobe, the spending represents a 16.8 percent year-over-year increase in online sales, as of 10:00 p.m. ET. Adobe said that the numbers for Cyber Monday exceeded Black Friday, which had $5.03 billion in sales, and Thanksgiving Day, where there was $2.87 billion in sales. Adobe's numbers were drawn from the data collected by the company through Adobe Analytics, its web analytics product, and one trillion visits to over 4,500 retail sites. Adobe said the most popular products on Cyber Monday were Google Chromecast, Apple iPads, Samsung Tablets, Apple AirPods, and Sony Playstation VR plus Super Mario Odyssey, Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Xbox One X, along with toys such as PJ Masks and Hatchimals & Colleggtibles, Funko Pop and L.O.L. Surprise dolls, and Ride On Cars.
