Silicon Beach Software's Dark Castle Revived Online

Dark Castle, the popular 1980's video game for the Macintosh developed by San Diego's Silicon Beach Software, has been revived--this time, on the web--as part of a trove of throwback Apple Mac software products released by the Internet Archive. Users who miss the enthralling, black-and-white adventures of hero Duncan in battling the Black Knight can now play the entire game in their web browser. Silicon Beach Software released Dark Castle in 1986, just a few years after the release of the original Mac. Silicon Beach's Jonathan Gay programmed Dark Castle while still in college at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, in a collaboration with game designer Mark Pierce.
