DAQRI Selects Flex For Augmented Reality Headset Production

Los Angeles-based DAQRI, a startup which is developing augmented reality headsets and software, has selected contract manufacturer Flex to build its AR headsets. Flex (formerly known as Flextronics) said it will start manufacturing DAQRI's headsets in Cork, Ireland, beginning this summer. Flex also said it will manage logistics directly to the consumer and provide after-market services including repair and maintenance for DAQRI. Financial details of the deal between the companies were not announced.
