HyperX Launches New SSDs For Gamers

Fountain Valley-based HyperX, which makes products for the videogaming market, said today that it has rolled out two new solid state disks (SSDs) specifically aimed at videogamers. According to the company--which is the gaming division of Kingston Technology--it has rolled out the FURY RGB SSD and SAVAGE EXO SSD, two diferent solid state drives specifically aimed at both accelerating read and write speeds for gamers--and also to enhance gaming systems with "more color and LED lighting". The new drives not only feature very fast data transfer speeds (550MB/s read and 480MB/s write), but include RGB lighting effects. The devices are available in a variety of capacities, from 240GB to 960GB.
