Report: Faraday Future Loses Key EV Designer

Troubled, Los Angeles-based electric vehicle startup Faraday Future has lost a key electric vehicle designer, among a number of layoffs at the company over the last few weeks, according to a report. According to a report from the Verge, Peter Savagian, a Senior Vice President at Faraday Future and former Chief Engineering on the General Motors EV1 electric car, has left his job. The departure comes as Faraday Future has been laying off staff without severance and cutting salaries, after an investment deal with Chinese company Evergrande Group went sour.
